Louie Giglio, pastor of Passion City Church, recently spoke about the truths regarding who we are in Christ according to what God's word says about us.
God’s words, not ours, break the chains that bind us and untie us from the lies that keep us from becoming all He has dreamed we will be. We’re not pumping more “self help”, but simply “putting on” mentally what is already true about us in Jesus.
Louie essentially said that we ought to take this as a message or sermon that we preach to ourselves every day. So what are the truths we ought to speak over our lives daily (and you may want to print this list out)?

Eyes that could not see open wider and wider over time by staying in God's Word daily. It took me 40 years to realize there are things He hates despite having read Proverbs 6:16-19 many many times.
Keep writing your excellent posts, John. Though they may not stop to comment, your faith and witness may influence those who have not found Christ, or prompt a believer to renew daily study. I needed the nudge.
